Please join the Center for Science and Innovation Studies and the Program in STS for a day-long STS graduate student workshop.

The purpose of the workshop is to foster intellectual community by providing a friendly and informal forum for UC Davis graduate students interested in Science & Technology Studies (broadly conceived) to present their ideas and work. We have a full and exciting day planned with 22 graduate students participating (see attached flier for list of presenters). Some students will present ongoing work from their dissertations; others will present ideas they hope to turn into a qualifying paper, research project or article. We hope you will come to support the lively discussion geared toward providing insightful and supportive feedback. Copious coffee and edible foodstuffs will accompany the illuminating conversations and camaraderie.
